PURPOSE

Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of El Centro/Undocu-Success, the Undocu-Success Center Program Specialist performs administrative, technical, and analytical duties in support of the day-to-day administration and operations of the Undocu-Success Center. The position implements established programs and services that support undocumented students, students from mixed-status families, and the broader campus community; interprets and applies applicable policies and procedures;

maintains program information and records; and uses participation, feedback, and other available data to identify operational needs and support program improvements.
The position supports CSUMB student success and belonging initiatives by carrying out established program activities, maintaining effective working relationships with campus and community partners, serving as a program liaison, and providing information and assistance regarding Undocu-Success Center programs, services, and resources. The position supports the work of the Affinity Centers, Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, and the Office of Community and Belonging.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following Administrative Operations and Program Administration
  • Perform day-to-day administrative activities that support Undocu-Success Center programs, services, and a welcoming environment for undocumented students and students from mixed-status families.
