Overview
RQC, LLC. is a full-service Design-Build company serving public and private clients with a primary focus on the Department of Defense. Headquartered in Carlsbad, CA, we manage projects across the United States. We specialize in fast-track commercial construction projects with on-site field operations.
We are looking for Construction Quality Control Manager candidates to join our West Coast Field Operations team for military/federal projects located in Monterey, CA. The QC Manager position must work on-site.
ResponsibilitiesQC Managers are responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a project-specific quality control program, executing its performance according to contract requirements, completing administrative documentation on time, and cultivating customer satisfaction with the client, in alignment with RQC s Mission, Vision, and Values. Local candidates may be preferred based on project location, with relocation or travel to on-site management required as necessary.
Payand Benefits
Pay: $100,000-$145,000 annually (depends on experience)
Fringe Benefits: Vehicle Allowance, Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits (United Healthcare), Vacation/Sick/Holiday Pay, Bonus eligibility
Ideal Candidates / Qualifications- A graduate of a four-year accredited college or university program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or Building Science. A combination of equivalent work experience and training may qualify.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager, with at least two years of continuous experience as a QC Manager.
- A current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate (or equivalent) is required.
- Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired.
- LEED AP, AP+ or Green Associate (GA) Certificate preferred.
- Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications required (training can be provided).
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.
- Specific software literacy (Viewpoint/Vista) preferred.
