Monterey Navy Lodge is in need of a Guest Services Representative to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day to day basis. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families.
- Provide excellent customer service to our valued and honored guests.
- Issue room keys, operate the telephone switchboard, and utilize computerized Property Management Systems.
- Communicate with Navy Lodge personnel and chain of command.
- Reconcile daily transactions of all accounts.
- Follow all local safety regulations. Inform supervisor of hazardous conditions.
- Maintain lobby appearance including cleaning, mopping, dusting, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Set‑up, breakdown, and clean‑up of the complimentary “self‑service” breakfast bar and other events in the lobby area.
- 1 year of general office clerical experience and progressively responsible experience.
- May substitute one half year of academic study above the high school level for 6 months of experience.
- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
- Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check.

Experience Requirements:- GENERAL
EXPERIENCE:
1 year of general office clerical experience that demonstrated the ability to perform clerical duties satisfactorily. - SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
1 year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled. - SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR
EXPERIENCE:
Study completed in a college university or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one‑half academic year of study for 6 months of experience.
