Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a nonprofit organization in Monterey, California. The person in this role will help guide attendees, respond to service inquiries, and provide dependable front-line support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist visitors and customers by answering questions, providing directions, and ensuring a positive service experience during events and daily operations.
• Handle credit card and cash transactions with accuracy while following established payment and reconciliation procedures.
• Respond to inbound customer inquiries promptly and professionally, and support outbound follow-up communication when needed.
• Enter customer and order information into internal systems with close attention to detail and timeliness.
• Coordinate with on-site leadership to maintain smooth service flow and address attendee needs as they arise.
• Support event-related customer service activities, including helping guests navigate festival or fairground locations.
• Resolve routine service issues efficiently and escalate more complex concerns to the appropriate team member when necessary.
