Salesian Elementary and Junior High School is a Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth grade Catholic School in the Diocese of Monterey. We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and nurturing Primary Grade Teacher. The candidate has strong engagement and motivational strategies, values critical thinking, and allows students opportunities to explore. Values student voice, creates hands-on experiences and believes all students can succeed.
Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church Supports and adheres to the policies and procedures of the school Directs and evaluates the learning experience of the student in both curricular and extracurricular activities Carries out carefully constructed lesson plans and maintains documentation of instructional planning Communicates effectively with students, parents, and other professionals Cooperates with and assists the principal in improving the curriculum and instructional programs Have a completed a BS or BA from a recognized college or university Hold a valid California Teaching Credential or its equivalent from another state Letter of Introduction Letters of Recommendation(3) Resume Please submit information to:
