Community Liaison Leader - Split site - Bilingual Preferred

Job Title

Under general supervision of the principal or site administrator, serves in a liaison capacity between the students and the school, home, and community. Responsible for organizing, planning, publicizing, coordinating, and conducting various community outreach programs. Assists with assigned administrative tasks. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor. The assignment is split between Crumpton Elementary and Olson Elementary.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalency

Experience:

Combination of training and experience of progressively responsible security or counseling experience, which has provided the required level of knowledge and abilities. Some experience working with large groups of school-age students. Training in keyboarding, personal computer literacy, and general clerical operations. Basic English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and report and/or letter writing. Experience in counseling, education, recreation, or closely related field, preferably in work with students of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Basic Function:
Under general supervision of the district coordinator and site administrator, serves in a liaison capacity between the military dependent students/families and the school, home and community. Responsible for organizing, planning, publicizing, coordinating and conducting on-site programs. Meets with students on an individual and group basis to support the unique needs of students during transitions. Individuals with a military background strongly encouraged to apply.

Monthly stipend for passage of bilingual/biliteracy examination. Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment:
