Long-Term Substitute Teacher for 3rd Grade

Holy Cross School is seeking a dedicated and caring Long-Term Substitute Teacher for 3rd grade to join our faculty beginning in approximately December 2026 and continuing through the end of the 2026 - 2027 school year in June 2027. The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will assume the responsibilities of the classroom teacher during an extended leave and will provide a consistent, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who is committed to academic excellence, student growth, and the Catholic mission of Holy Cross School. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, administration, and families to ensure continuity of instruction and a positive classroom experience throughout the remainder of the school year.

• Manage the classroom effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress to ensure academic growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to foster a strong home-school connection.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to uphold the mission and values of Holy Cross School.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA) required.
• Teaching credential (current or in progress) or substitute permit required.
• Experience teaching or working with elementary-aged children preferred.
• Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the school's mission.
