Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Financial Aid & Enrollment Services and the daily supervision of the Associate Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Outreach Counselor independently performs a variety of basic and complex student services functions characterized by advising and counseling students applying for financial aid. The Financial Aid Outreach Counselor supports the University's outreach and enrollment management efforts by participating in recruitment and retention initiatives, representing the Office of Financial Aid at on campus and community events, and providing prospective and continuing students with accurate financial aid information to promote student access to financial aid programs and enrollment to the university.

• Using appropriate Federal, State, and Institutional standards, evaluates information provided by financial aid applicants to determine eligibility for specific types of assistance.
