Pay range above is based on Monterey, CA locality. Relocation package, including relocation incentive may or may not be authorized.

The Department of Acquisition, Finance, and Manpower (DAFM) at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) seeks candidates for a Lecturer position in defense contract management. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in defense contract management. This is an on-campus position. NPS is an educational institution within the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). It is located on the coast in Monterey, California, about 140 miles south of San Francisco.

DAFM is one of the departments within NPS, which awards graduate degrees in sciences, engineering, national security, computer science, operations research, and management. Students include U.S. and international military officers from all services, as well as federal employees. DAFM has over 40 full-time faculty members, about 350 full-time resident students and approximately 200 part-time distance learning students. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges accredits NPS and its degrees.

Candidates should also display a willingness to teach both resident and distance learning courses. NPS offers courses year-round on an 11-week quarter basis.
