CA-Storage Engineer - Secret Security Clearance

Overview

Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC's diverse academic community.

• Configure SAN/NAS systems, manage backup solutions, and maintain the security of the data center.
• Monitor and provide daily support to ensure the health and availability of IT systems and infrastructure, both on-premises and for cloud-based programs and applications.
• Plan, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage Storage Engineer servers and applications.
• Design, implement, and oversee an organization’s data storage systems, working with networks, databases, and other high-capacity systems.
• Other duties include planning and maintenance during or after-hours as needed.

• BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5+ years OR AA/AS degree with 7+ years of experience; 9+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with SAN technologies in a highly virtualized and converged environment and maintaining a high-availability datacenter.

  Skills:
  
  VMware vSphere, Linux (Red Hat), Windows Server, SQL, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, and Active Directory.
• IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) certification and applicable CE/OS Certification.
