• Wired and wireless network performance monitoring.
• Network optimization.
• Network testing and troubleshooting.
• IT project management and implementation of network security controls.
• Advanced troubleshooting and analysis of all elements of the network infrastructure.

• Experience working with network infrastructure, preferably Extreme Networks products and solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
• Extreme Networks certification highly recommended.
• Experience in managing network-related projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation of network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.

• VMware NSX (install, configure, manage V6.2).
• Ruckus Layer 2 Switches, Wireless Controller, Wireless Access Points.
• Palo Alto Networks firewall (PA-7050, PA-3060, PA-3260, PA-5450, Wild Fire/URL Filtering).
• Brocade MPLS implementation Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
• Cisco network switches and routers.
• Aruba Networks (excellent knowledge of Wireless Controllers, Access Points, Air Wave, Clear Pass).
• Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM system.
• Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches, Extreme IQ, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
• Solar Winds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends.

• BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
• AA/AS degree with 7+ years of experience.
• 9+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) and applicable CE/OS certification.
