We are a physician‑led specialty medical practice seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee daily operations and support a high‑functioning clinical team. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for staff management, operational workflows, patient experience, and administrative oversight.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for staff management, operational workflows, patient experience, and administrative oversight.
Responsibilities Operations & Staff Management- Oversee daily front‑and back‑office operations
- Manage, schedule, and supervise clinical and administrative staff
- Approve timecards and ensure appropriate clinic coverage
- Interview, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate staff
- Conduct performance reviews and manage corrective actions
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, team‑based culture
- Maintain provider schedules and on‑call calendars
- Ensure office readiness, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
- Oversee office supply purchasing and inventory control
- Review and approve invoices and internal expenses
- Maintain OSHA logs and workers’ compensation reporting
- Serve as escalation point for patient concerns and complaints
- Ensure timely referral coordination and follow‑up
- Support communication with hospitals, dialysis units, specialists, and community partners
- Monitor patient experience feedback and implement improvements
- Working knowledge of CPT, ICD‑10, HCPCS, and insurance workflows
- Coordinate with billing team on denials, authorizations, and follow‑up
- Support compliance with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial payers
- Monitor operational reports and identify workflow or revenue gaps
- Serve as EMR superuser for office workflows
- Support staff training and efficient EMR use
- Troubleshoot basic workflow and IT issues
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of medical office management or healthcare operations experience
- Experience supervising staff in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical insurance processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑responsibility environment
- Computer proficient (EMR systems, Microsoft Word/Excel)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in a specialty practice
- Epic EMR experience
- Exposure to billing, coding, or revenue cycle operations

- Sitting, standing, walking throughout the day
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
- Reliable, responsive, and accountable leadership
- Strong follow‑through and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage people and systems simultaneously
