Summary:
The IT Tier 2 Support Technician will provide troubleshooting & assistance with classroom equipment maintenance/repair and simulate/recreate issues to resolve operating difficulties.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
- Duties include service desk support for all users, IT related assets, datacenter, network, and IT supply request.
- Must be able to identify core and root cause with ability to restore service, correct issues, image/reimage assets, and other duties as assigned.
- Document, track, monitor, and escalate problems to ensure a timely resolution.
- Provides telephone or office support services to include advanced OS, intermediate account, advanced software, & intermediate hardware support. Deploy Mac, Windows & iOS images to devices.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM), Client Configuration Management, End User Support. Duties will include installation & maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting (includes warranty/RMA).
- Support IT Supply Technician as assigned.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of macOS, Windows, iOS, & Active Directory.
- Familiar with Ivanti Management Suite (or equivalent ITSM Platforms, & Windows imaging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Substitute with 3+ years of experience
- Training, Certifications, EXP, & Clearance Requirements:
- IAT Level II (CCNA Security/CSA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/SSCP) Cert. & applicable CE/OS Cert. & Windows or Apple Cert. Mac Tech.
- Experience with asset tracking & management.
- Secret Clearance.
The salary range for this position is $58,240.00 to $65,520.00 annually.
