Position: SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will serve as the Command's IAM, responsible for developing policies and procedures to ensure IS reliability, development and management of IS contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
* You will oversee enhancements to information system designs, evaluate designs and changes for IA policy compliance, and make recommendations for design constraints or alternatives.
* You will provide technical, management, and executive program briefs to ensure all levels of personnel are kept up to date on network requirements.
* You will develop fiscal and narrative input to address the preparation of annual budgets for Network Services support within approved resources.
* You will serve at the immediate supervisor level to include assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and employee capabilities.
* You will provide insight of information technology policies and administrative developments to support the development of current and future programs. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (722), proficiency level (INTERMEDIATE) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
* MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required Top Secret/SCI security clearance. Qualifications To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience managing Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
* Experience assisting in the planning, designing, or implementation of Information Systems (IS) infrastructure security; supporting the DoD certification and accreditation process; and providing technical guidance on system vulnerabilities and disaster recovery.
* Experience monitoring IS networks, applying security configurations to safeguard data, and drafting input for IT lifecycle management and contingency plans. AND Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas:
* Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency includes:
Ensuring effective progress and execution of information systems design, development, testing, installation, operations, management, and maintenance concepts and methods to provide information systems services.
* Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services;
