Salary range: $140,000-$160,000
Position OverviewThe Program Manager will provide overall leadership, direction, and oversight for contractor performance under the NPS Extended Campus Support Services Task Order. This role serves as the primary interface between the Government’s Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and the contractor’s workforce, ensuring seamless communication, operational excellence, and full compliance with contract requirements.
The Program Manager is empowered to make day‑to‑day decisions on behalf of the contractor and is responsible for ensuring all services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This position is designated as Key Personnel and may not simultaneously serve in any other contractor role under this contract.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall program management and oversight for all contractor activities under the task order.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government COR and contractor staff.
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of all contract requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of all services, deliverables, and reporting obligations.
- Manage staffing, performance, and resource allocation to meet mission needs.
- Oversee quality assurance and risk management processes.
- Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain full compliance with contract terms, policies, and performance standards.
- Minimum 5 years of program management experience in an environment comparable to the scope and complexity described in the PWS.
- BA/BS degree in administrative, management, communications, or a related business discipline.
- None required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must be fully empowered by the contractor to make operational decisions.
- Must not concurrently work as a contractor employee under any other task order within this contract.
The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with strong communication skills, proven experience managing complex programs, and the ability to collaborate effectively with government stakeholders. They will be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and committed to supporting the Naval Postgraduate School’s mission.
