Description:
This is a smoke-free facility. All drug reports must show negative results for nicotine/cotinine. If tested positive, a review will be submitted if there is a legitimate prescription for a nicotine patch. Contract cancellation will apply if there is no valid reason for a positive nicotine/cotinine test. Candidates should have experience with Epic. Call shifts are approximately 10 per month, including every other weekend and possibly two during the week.
On average, there are 4-5 EP cases and 6-7 cath cases per day. Nurses may need to pre-op/recover patients occasionally. Preferred EMR/Equipment includes Epic, McKesson, Philips, and Siemens. Call response time is 30 minutes. Travelers may not get as much call since staff often prefers to cover it for additional pay, but there may be instances where shifts need to be filled.
Work during holidays is required on call. Unit-specific orientation will occur over 2-3 shifts depending on experience. The client reserves the right to call off a professional up to 36 hours during a 13-week assignment without penalty.
