Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Nurse Opportunity

Seeking experienced registered nurses specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP to join a dynamic cardiology team. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care for various cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative care to Cardiac Cath and EP patients.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, EP studies, and related interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records, including Epic.
• Respond promptly to on-call situations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in cardiac or cardiovascular nursing, with structural experience preferred.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; RCIS preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Epic EMR; experience with McKesson, Philips, Siemens is a plus.
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.
• Demonstrated ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Willingness to work holidays, with flexibility for call duties.
