Overview
FWI is building a team to support the Naval Postgraduate School's (NPS) NPS Extended Campus (NEC) and Office of University Communications (OUC). NEC develops innovative digital learning tools and applications that support NPS graduate-level instruction and academic programming. This position will bridge software development, educational technology, and interactive media to deliver cutting‑edge learning applications for NPS students and faculty. It will design, develop, and maintain interactive online educational applications, simulations, and dashboards, ensuring NPS has modern, reliable, and user‑friendly digital tools that enhance the teaching and learning experience.

Work Schedule and LocationFull‑time on‑site position. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain interactive online educational applications.
- Program simulations, dashboards, and multimedia applets for computer, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Maintain code inventories; research emerging programming and media development trends.
- Provide consultation on media graphics for student academic projects.
- BA/BS degree in computer programming or a related discipline.
- 3 years of experience designing, developing, debugging, and implementing software.
- Independent programming experience including design, specifications, integration, testing, QA, technical documentation, and effectiveness assessment.
- Ability to perform feasibility analysis for future projects.
