CDL Bus Driver

We are looking for an experienced CDL Bus Driver in Salinas, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Position subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement.

$27.00 per hour starting pay (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Rate).

• Vacation: 5 days per year after 90 days of employment.
• Paid Sick Leave: 8 hours per month for full‑time employees and 5 hours per month for part‑time employees.

• All benefits are subject to Union Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Safety‑Focused Operations
  :
  Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care
  :
  Exhibit exceptional care and assistance toward passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation for all.
• Vehicle Vigilance
  :
  Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Adherence to Protocols
  :
  Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Other duties as required.

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement or CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination as applicable.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – 100% of the job is performed outside, alone, and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods up to 6–8 hours per day; frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, lift material weighing up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

• Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
