CDL Bus Driver

Job Overview

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced CDL Bus Driver to join our elite team in Salinas, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• Pay: $27.00 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Rate)
• Vacation: 5 days per year after 90 days of employment
• Paid Sick Leave: 8 hours monthly for full‑time employees, 5 hours monthly for part‑time employees
• Medical, dental, and vision benefits: available first of month following 30 days of employment
• Other benefits: life insurance, 401(k), company holidays (subject to Union Collective Bargaining Agreement)

• Safe, punctual operation of designated routes while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth boarding and disembarkation of passengers.
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness of safety equipment.
• Enforce company policies, seat‑belt usage, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement OR CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work shifts and flexible schedules as required.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity; 100% of job performed outside, alone, in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequent walking over uneven surfaces.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching.
• Tolerate heavy traffic areas, dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
