A general manager leads the daily operations of a Domino’s store, ensuring high‑quality pizza delivery, excellent customer service, strict cost control, and adherence to company policies.

You are responsible for all activities during your shift, including:

• Set and model the highest standards of conduct and follow all policies and procedures.
• Control costs, manage inventory, and oversee accurate cash handling.
• Maintain customer relations and provide great service.
• Arrange staff schedules, complete necessary paperwork, and enforce standards.
• Ensure the store’s cleanliness, image, and marketing initiatives.
• Track profitability and meet business objectives.
• Provide reliable transportation to and from work.

Employees may progress from delivery driver to store manager, and eventually to franchise owner or corporate roles.

• Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage.
• Prepare pizza product and receive telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Receive orientation and training on the job.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Accurately perform basic math and make correct monetary change.
• Enter orders using computer or touch screen.

Varying weather, temperature extremes, fumes, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, and moving mechanical parts may be encountered during operations.

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most tasks.
• Depth perception and ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

• Standing — Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking — Short distances, on ceramic tiles or linoleum; height of work surfaces 36–48 inches.
• Lifting — Unload bulk deliveries up to 50 lb. and stack up to 72 high.
• Carrying — Move cans (3 lb., 7 oz.) or pizza sauce (30 lb.) and trays (≈12 lb each).
• Pushing/Pulling — Move trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb. of force.
• Climbing — Occasionally navigate stairs or ladders.
• Forward bending, squatting, and reaching — Continue throughout the shift.
• Hand tasks — Continuous use of hands, forearms, wrists; manipulate pizza peel, cutter, boxes.
• Equipment — Use of pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, and pizza tools.

• Deliver product by car and to customer doorways.
• Distribute flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.

• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings and private homes.

• Carry pizzas and beverages during walking and climbing duties.
• Drive within the designated delivery area, making multiple deliveries per shift.
• Travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
• Climb five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
