Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for negotiation and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Buyer to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that we source and purchase the highest quality materials at the most cost-effective prices.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, coupled with a strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.

• Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to meet the company's objectives.
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
• Conducting cost analysis to identify areas for potential savings and improvement.
• Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain strategies.
• Overseeing inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Forecasting future supply needs and market trends to inform purchasing decisions.
• Collaborating with other departments to determine product specifications and requirements.
• Managing the procurement budget and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Staying updated on product knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Resolving vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in negotiation and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement best practices.
• Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting.
• Solid understanding of cost analysis and budgeting.
• Excellent product knowledge in the manufacturing industry.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant procurement software.
• A degree in accounting, supply chain, or business administration
