What You’ll Do General Accounting & Financial Analysis- Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger activity with minimal supervision
- Own and manage portions of the month‑end and year‑end close process
- Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies, trends, and areas requiring adjustment
- Recommend appropriate accounting treatment based on GAAP and firm standards
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned client work streams
- Communicate financial results and explain accounting or tax positions to clients
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex engagements while managing day‑to‑day execution
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in applying accounting and tax principles
- Prioritize and manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant experience
- 2+ years of relevant accounting or tax experience (internships applicable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (Ultra Tax) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles and exercise professional judgment
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
