Position Summary:
The Director of Finance is the senior finance and accounting leader supporting both T‑TEK and NPI. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, and financial planning and analysis. The Director of Finance partners closely with the Presidents and operational leaders to provide accurate financial insights, support strategic decision‑making, and drive business performance.

- Serve as the senior finance leader for T‑TEK and NPI, partnering closely with Presidents and leadership teams to provide financial guidance and support strategic business decisions.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance.
- Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, communicating results and insights to both local leadership and Duravant finance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes for both operating companies.
- Prepare financial models, variance analyses, and management reporting to support decision‑making across the business.
- Monitor revenue, margins, operating expenses, inventory, working capital, project profitability, and cash flow, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to improve forecasting accuracy and financial performance.
- Oversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, account reconciliations, and month‑end and year‑end close.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and Duravant reporting requirements.
- Manage percentage‑of‑completion (POC) accounting and revenue recognition for project‑based business, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain effective internal controls and support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Oversee cash management, billing, collections, and working capital initiatives to optimize financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and financial controls to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with operations to improve inventory accuracy, cost visibility, project costing, and financial reporting.
- Support the ongoing optimization of financial systems and reporting tools, working collaboratively with corporate finance and internal stakeholders to enhance processes and data integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Experience overseeing month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Experience with percentage‑of‑completion (POC) accounting and revenue recognition for project‑based businesses.
- Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor accounting and finance teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, collaborative leadership style.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to Montgomery, Alabama.
- CPA and/or CMA designation.
- Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, automation, or engineered‑to‑order manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting multiple business units or operating companies.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and project accounting.
