Job Summary

Are you a detail-oriented, patient person with strong critical thinking skills? Do you thrive on spotting errors, ensuring clarity, and maintaining consistency while adapting to various styles and client needs? If you have excellent concentration, technological proficiency, and a commitment to professionalism, then you would be a perfect addition to our Life team as a Proofreader I. As a Life Proofreader I, you will be a vital part of the document completion process, checking for errors and inconsistencies.

Responsibilities
  • Proofreading and choosing the appropriate documents. To include keying the appropriate information on the documents which will be included in the policy contract.
  • Prepare duplicate policies.
  • Key information on policy documents.
  • Handle calls and emails from agents and other departments.
  • Proofreading checks, letters, and forms
  • Review, approval, and data entry of beneficiary changes
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Part I LOMA (Course 1 and
    2) is helpful.
  • Business courses helpful.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good reading and English skills.
  • Good documentation and organizational skills are a must.
  • Typing and calculator expertise is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
