Responsibilities- Student Affairs Assistants provide support to the Division of Student Affairs in various departments and functions, including Warhawk Alley, the Resources Center, the Career Development Center, the Global Education Center, and other Student Affairs programs, events and activites.
- Engage with students and other visitors to locations within Student Affairs, greet visitors upon arrival, answering questions and providing resources as needed
- Assist with Student Affairs event/program management, including but not limited to: registration, logistics, setup/breakdown, publicity, and engagement with students
- Attend university-wide programs and events, providing assistance to Student Affairs staff as needed
- Printing, copying, and/or distributing promotional materials for programs, evnets, and activities including flyers, posters, postcards, and other materials
- Other duties as assigned
- Enthusiasm to positively represent AUM and Student Affairs
- Knowledge of AUM programs and services to students
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills, in both one‑on‑one and group settings
- Organization skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and react quickly to multiple, competing demands
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Dependable and hard‑working
- Punctual
This position may require work outside of university business hours, including nights and weekends.
