The Athletics Department at Auburn University at Montgomery is seeking a graduate assistant to join the Athletic Communications team and assist with its 12 NCAA Division II athletic programs. As part of the External Operations unit, you will support the mission of AUM Athletics and work closely with the Director of Athletic Communications to fulfill various assignments. Responsibilities include assisting with coverage of AUM Athletics, game operations, social media management, live‑stream broadcast production, and content creation for various media platforms.
You will also be involved in training and supervising student workers, contributing to gameday operations, and ensuring compliance with university and athletic policies. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and gain hands‑on experience in sports communication.

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four‑year institution
- Experience in the sports industry (volunteer, intern, part‑time, or student‑worker role)
- Experience working in a collegiate athletics communications office as a volunteer, intern, part‑time and/or student‑worker role.
- Experience with producing live stream broadcasts and Blue Frame Production Truck.
- Experience with social media and/or creative content programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Gipper.
