Overview
Retail within CME Group is the fastest growing client segment, and the Retail Business team is at the forefront of steering its strategic trajectory with a keen focus on growth initiatives. The team works closely with senior leadership across all departments (e.g. Sales, Business Line Management, Marketing, Data Services, etc.) to identify short and long‑term growth opportunities and solve critical business challenges.
The roles and responsibilities of the team are dynamic in nature, and include evaluating, structuring, and executing new business opportunities, broker partner investments & programs, marketing and educational content, and more within the Retail space. Charged with the mission of driving Retail growth and strategic alignment across CME Group stakeholders, the team excels in the art of crafting, fine‑tuning, and delivering strategic Retail initiatives.
- Support the development of short and long term global retail strategies to drive revenue growth
- Conduct analyses of competitors, broker partners, business models, market sizing and industry & regulatory trends
- Create and maintain key business documents and materials, including dashboards, to track performance and provide transparency into business developments
- Proactively develop and support stakeholder relationships across the organization
- Identify gaps in business knowledge and work across the team and organization to address the gaps
- Contribute towards ensuring retail's strategic vision is aligned with CME Group's broader corporate strategy and goals
- Experience in strategy, management consulting, or other similar positions, especially within the retail trading landscape, will be preferred
- A deep curiosity about financial markets and the experience of a retail trader
- Proven ability to conduct deep analyses and proactively identify trends and patterns in the results
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills to executive audiences
- Experience building strong internal and external relationships and leveraging network to successfully deliver projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and business intelligence tools
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Postgraduate degree in an analytical field or MBA a plus
