The Data Analyst provides data analytics and reporting using knowledge of data, software capabilities, and healthcare business initiatives to support Mobile Med’s leadership and operations. Major activities include routine reporting of operational activities, compliance reports for grantors, contract monitoring and tracking, quality improvement activities reporting, and management reports tailored to key performance indicators and strategic initiatives.
Duties:- Prepare patient volume/demographic/outcome reports for funders and internal purposes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports that analyze clinical metrics, extracting data from the electronic health record system.
- Serve as primary resource to complete the annual UDS (Uniform Data System) Report required for community health center grantees, as well as other federal reporting for supplemental projects/funding.
- Proactively identify and address, in collaboration with leadership, any documentation deficiencies, particularly areas impacting UDS and Montgomery Cares.
- Assist with operational reporting, e.g., patient no-show and cancellation rates, provider productivity, etc.
- Support grant proposals/applications by running data reports, as requested.
- Support grant compliance reporting by preparing and running reports for Grantors specified in grant agreements throughout the grant period.
- Support Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement monitoring, initiatives, projects.
- Miscellaneous Activities including supporting patient outreach efforts, providing data relevant to the provider for the re-privileging process, and supporting risk management and financial/administrative activities, as assigned.
- Consult with leadership to identify improvement opportunities with supporting data.
- Establish KPIs or similar measures with the executive team for business decisions and support of strategic insights gleaned from work.
- Structure and analyze large data sets to find usable information.
- Craft presentations and reports based upon recommendations and findings.
- Provide visualizing data with graphs, infographics, and similar methods.
- Ensure information accuracy and integrity
- Demonstrated capability in data analysis.
- Experience working with databases and related software required, experience with eClinical Works (eCW) electronic health records software strongly preferred.
- Intermediate or higher skill level with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, etc.).
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; highly self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience.
