About the Company
APAC-AL, Inc. is part of CRH’s South Division and supplies asphalt and construction services throughout the southeastern United States, working with government agencies, private contractors, counties and municipalities.
Job ResponsibilitiesPerform general laboring duties on a road construction project, including shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, stripping and cleaning concrete forms, pouring concrete, vibrating concrete, and maintaining good housekeeping and safety regulations. Experience working around asphalt and operating equipment is beneficial.
Requirements- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and pass the required physical examination.
- Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, and multiplication).
- Prior construction experience preferred.
- Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
