Position: RECEPTIONIST (FULL TIME) at Compass Group, North America Montgomery, AL

Job Summary

RECEPTIONIST (FULL TIME) – Compass Group, North America – Montgomery, AL, location:
Montgomery Vending – 3013 Hayneville Road, Montgomery, AL 36108. Full‑time position, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm. Pay range: $15–$19 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Applications accepted only online.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and handle visitors with a smile, maintaining eye contact throughout the interaction and addressing guests by name whenever possible.
  • Answer telephones in a friendly, professional manner, take accurate messages, and appropriately handle or refer questions and requests.
  • Manage on‑floor conference room activities using the reservation system, staying aware of meeting start/end times, attendees, food and beverage orders, and informing staff of any changes or special requests.
  • Implement established security policies and procedures for arriving and departing visitors, contractors, and delivery persons.
  • Serve as a Hospitality Services resource to guests, visitors, and employees, providing way‑finding and information about building, transportation, community retail, and other amenities.
  • Handle car service requests for visitors and staff.
  • Communicate requests to internal support departments (building maintenance, IT, AV technology, mail room) for issues such as heating/cooling, computer, technical support, and package pickups/deliveries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Two to three years of experience in a client service or reception position within a hospitality or corporate environment.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
  • Prior receptionist or customer service experience required.
