Registered Dental Assistant – Oral Surgery

• Support surgeons during oral surgery procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist chairside
• Maintain sterile technique and patient comfort
• Complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
• Monitor patient status
• Manage advanced instruments
• Contribute to outstanding clinical outcomes
• Build strong relationships with referring dentists

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of employment
• Radiology certification as required by state law
• BLS Certification, or completion within 1 month of hire
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities
• Good judgment and critical thinking
• Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness
• Basic computer proficiency
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios
• Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial
• DAANCE certification is desirable
• Experience with electronic health records or digital charting
• IV sedation or anesthesia monitoring experience is a plus

Demonstrates expertise in supporting oral surgery procedures, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring patient comfort. Proficient in documentation, monitoring patient status, and managing advanced instruments while fostering strong relationships with referring dentists.
