Trammell Periodontics is a prominent periodontal practice located in Montgomery, Alabama. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking to add another Dental Hygiene Partner to our hygiene department. - Ability to administer anesthetic (this course will be required upon hiring)
- Educates patients on the importance of preventative care, the disease process and the role of bacteria; provides appropriate educational literature and instruction on home care.
- Assists doctor during clinical exam and record findings and recommendations
- Prepares all treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilizing and cleaning hand pieces and room - - restocks supplies
- Acts as a liaison between patients and doctors
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations.
- Ability to engender trust from the doctors, co-workers, and patients.
- Proficient in using conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques to manage conflict
- Ability to explain instructions to others with less technical knowledge
- Ability to take radiographs, including FMX, Pano and anterior PA’s.
- Skilled in the use of standard dental office equipment including:
Autoclave, X-ray machine - Pano, Panoramic X-ray, ultrasonic, Oxygen and Nitrous Oxide, Laser, Intra Oral camera, Vacu-press, and hand pieces. - Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner
- Ability to quickly grasp relevant concepts regarding duties and responsibilities.
- Hygiene license
