Description
The role of a Designer at a commercial office furniture dealership is a blend of creative interior design, technical specification, and project management. They serve as the bridge between a client’s vision and the actual furniture that arrives on the delivery truck.

- Software proficiency: mastery of CET Designer, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Product knowledge: deep understanding of major manufacturer catalogs (e.g., Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth) and their various price points.
- Attention to detail: specifying a single workstation can involve dozens of individual part numbers; accuracy is critical to prevent costly ordering errors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture (CIDA accredited preferred).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.04 - $36.05/hr.
