Director of Admissions; Undergraduate

Position: Director of Admissions (Undergraduate)
Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Director of Admissions for Undergraduate Admissions. The Director is responsible for all activities associated with recruiting, admitting, and enrolling an undergraduate student body that is consistent with the University's mission, vision, values, and traditions. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) position.

Summary of Duties:

* Execute recruiting strategies while consistently developing new strategies to accommodate market changes

* Lead and motivate the admissions team and manage personnel needs

* Design and manage comprehensive admissions policies and procedures

* Analyze the prospective student market; project and execute a goal for new, traditional student enrollment

* Plan, organize, and assist in major recruiting events held on campus and at various off campus conferences and camps

* Serve as liaison between the Admissions Office and other University departments

* Promote ways to involve the campus community in student recruitment efforts

* Administer the budget for the admissions department

* Represent the University at youth rallies, camps, conferences, and other recruiting events

* Frequent travel, as well as evening and weekend hours, will be required

Qualifications:

* Master's degree preferred;
Bachelor's degree required;
Experience considered in lieu of degree preference

* Prior experience in admissions or recruiting preferred

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Strong work ethic and willingness to travel extensively during the recruiting season

* Active member of the church of Christ
