Director of Business and Community Outreach

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Director of Business and Community Outreach
. The Director will be responsible for assisting with the cultivation of strategic relationships between the university and external organizations. The selected individual will work to enhance the university's presence, reputation, and partnerships in the community, while fostering opportunities for internships, workforce pipelines, sponsor ships, and collaborative projects that align with the institution's Christian mission and academic objectives. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) position.

• Serve as liaison between the university and business, nonprofit, and civic community
• Participate in and support recruiting initiatives across all colleges and programs; enhance student enrollment
• Assist with the management, coordination and attendance of events and conferences for various business associations
• Represent the university at community events, chamber of commerce meetings and regional development forums
• Development and manage association contracts with community groups; secure new partnerships
• Implement strategic outreach plans that align with university goals
• Facilitate business visits, high school in-service events, and campus tours
• Promote university events, initiatives, and resources to community partners; encourage reciprocal participation in community initiatives

• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree preferred
• Ability to travel frequently and work evenings and weekends as needed
• Active member of the churches of Christ
