Position: Secondary Technology Teachers (Grades 6-12)

qualifications:

  • current alabama teacher's certification, bachelor's degree or higher with an endorsement in elementary or secondary education.

essential duties:

  • create a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
  • establish effective rapport with students.
  • motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation.
  • instructs students in the proper use, care and safe handling of equipment.
  • provides for safe storage and proper use of materials, equipment and tools
  • use relevant technology to support instruction.
  • observe, assess, and document student performance as required by law and school policy.
  • utilize technology to enhance the curriculum including laboratory/hands-on experiences.
  • maintain the technology inventory in the classroom.
  • establish positive relationships with parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors.
