Industrial Maintenance Teacher
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and hold Alabama Teacher's Certification Bachelor's Degree or higher with an endorsement in Technical Education within the Career Technical Education Division.
- Willingness to complete any certification requirements.
- Work experience and understanding of industrial mechanics and pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, electronics, AC/DC current, circuits, meter reading, schematic reading, engines, and safety.
Essential Duties:
- Establish a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
- Establish effective rapport with students.
- Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation.
- Establish a good relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors.
- Complete and maintain career tech records and documentation.
- Attend career tech meetings, professional development activities, and functions.
- Sponsor career tech student organization work environment.
