qualifications:
- current alabama teacher's certification, bachelor's degree or higher with an endorsement in chemistry or general science
- highly qualified in chemistry
essential duties:
- create a chemistry program and classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth
- establish effective rapport with students
- motivate students
- develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation
- assist with coaching the science olympiad team
- establish a positive relationship with parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors
