qualifications:

• current alabama teacher's certification, bachelor's degree or higher with an endorsement in chemistry or general science
• highly qualified in chemistry

essential duties:

• create a chemistry program and classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth
• establish effective rapport with students
• motivate students
• develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation
• assist with coaching the science olympiad team
• establish a positive relationship with parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors
