- Bible Babies Learning Academy is a faith-based early learning center dedicated to nurturing children in a holistic, supportive environment. The academy focuses on growth across social, emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, and educational domains. Guided by the principle of “train up a child in the way they should go” (Proverbs 22:6), the school strives to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning and character development.

- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment.
- Build a strong classroom community by actively engaging children in daily routines, transitions, clean-up, celebrations, and classroom activities.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally appropriate lessons that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Utilize the Teaching Strategies GOLD® platform to document ongoing assessments, monitor child progress, and plan meaningful instructional activities.
- Develop and maintain weekly lesson plans and complete anecdotal notes and documentation on a regular basis.
- Understand and consistently implement proper child supervision procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
- Foster positive relationships while supporting children's social-emotional development and emotional well-being.
- Communicate with children using respectful, encouraging, and nurturing language.
- Model positive behaviors including kindness, cooperation, problem-solving, sharing, patience, and learning from mistakes.
- Guide children in developing appropriate communication skills and resolving peer conflicts in a positive and respectful manner.
- Work collaboratively with co‑teachers, administrators, and support staff to provide a high-quality educational experience.
- Build strong partnerships with families by communicating regularly through various platforms and maintaining open, professional communication.
- Participate in parent conferences, family engagement events, and educational field trips.
- Actively engage with children during Learning Centers/Free Choice Time and Gross Motor activities by facilitating play, encouraging exploration, and extending learning opportunities.
- Sit with children during meals and snacks to model respectful conversation, social skills, table manners, and healthy eating habits.
- Maintain accurate classroom records, attendance, and required documentation.
- Follow all state licensing regulations, DHR requirements, health and safety procedures, and center policies.
- Perform additional classroom duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- All lead teachers must be at least 21 years of age.
- All lead teachers must possess one of the following degrees:
- Early Childhood Education degree (B.S., B.A., or M.A./M.S.)
- Human Environmental Science degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Development or Child Development.
- Special Education degree in Early Childhood with a minimum of 18 credit hours in early childhood/child development coursework.
- Elementary Education degree with a minimum of 18 hours in early childhood/child development coursework.
