Do you light up when a 4‑year‑old finally grasps a new concept? Do you believe play is learning? We’re looking for a passionate Pre‑K Lead Teacher for Georgetown Hill Early School!

Georgetown Hill Early School is a non‑profit school, part of the Maryland community since 1980, dedicated to bringing together great teachers, curious kids, and their families.

• $20–$25/hr based on experience and credentials

• Congressional Plaza, Rockville – walkable to Twinbrook Metro, beautiful campus behind Congressional Plaza
• NRC, Rockville – walkable to North Bethesda Metro, NAEYC‑accredited, approved as a nonpublic school under the MSDE, serving Federal employees and surrounding community
• Montgomery Square, Potomac – conveniently located close to Interstate 270 and Montrose Road, small but mighty, fully bilingual campus serving families in both Rockville and Potomac
• Potomac Village, Potomac – just off the River & Falls Road intersection, multi‑level campus with beautiful outdoor spaces, serving local community and commuters

Lead Teacher: $23‑$25/hr (based on credentials and experience)

Assistant Teacher: $20‑$22/hr (based on credentials and experience)

• Guide Pre‑K children through joyful, hands‑on learning using our PLAN curriculum
• Create a warm, safe classroom where every child feels seen and supported
• Partner with families to celebrate each child’s unique development
• Lead and collaborate with your classroom team

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Education, or a related field
• 3 years of experience working with young children (preferred)
• Deep knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate practices
• A warm, patient, and organized personality
• Familiarity with MSDE regulations is a big plus

All offers are contingent on a successful state and federal background check per MSDE Office of Child Care regulations. Applicants for our federal center campuses must receive GSA security clearance through a government background screening.
