Math Instructional/Interventionist Coach
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Math Instructional/Interventionist Coach at Lead Academy Charter School.
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama Teacher's Certification, Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Classroom experience
Job Goal:
- Coordinate and facilitate the school's mathematics intervention program
- Teach targeted literacy and/or mathematics intervention to identified small groups
- Assist teachers with the collection of data. Interprets the data and shares the analysis with the appropriate staff members
- Collaborate with teachers to identify the literacy and/or mathematics needs of students, to set learning goals and targets, and to problem solve with teachers to develop best practices for continuous academic growth of students in literacy and/or mathematics
- Review student achievement and assist with placing students in appropriate literacy and/or mathematics intervention
- Attend professional development to enhance knowledge of pedagogy and content, especially literacy and/or mathematics
- Maintain and submit accurate and up-to-date management records of all students' progress
- Perform other duties related to literacy and/or mathematics as assigned by supervisor
Salary:
Board approved salary schedule based on rank, certification and experience.

187 days
