Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Alabama Teachers Certification with a Math endorsement (Bachelors degree or higher)
• Strong communication skills and passion for teaching math at the secondary level

• Demonstrated capacity to motivate and encourage students
• Proficient in using technology to enhance instruction and equip students with 21st-century skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish effective rapport with students and facilitate a supportive learning atmosphere
• Motivate learners to develop attitudes, skills, and knowledge that build a strong foundation in mathematics
• Seamlessly incorporate technology to make lessons engaging and relevant
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, volunteers, and visitors

This position covers the academic year, from August 11, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with a standard 37.5-hour work week. The caseload details are being finalized. Three onsite positions are available, providing chances to collaborate and share in student success.
