Overview
The Department of Communication and Theatre at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time lecturer position, to begin August 2026. This is a one-year (nine-month), renewable appointment.

Responsibilities will include teaching courses appropriate to the needs of the department and maintaining office hours. The teaching load is 4-4 courses (24 credit hrs) per academic year (Fall and Spring). Summer teaching is possible.
The successful candidate will join three colleagues in an esteemed Theatre program that produces three annual productions with Theatre AUM, one of which receives an external response for the American College Theater Festival each year.

The Department of Mathematics currently includes nine tenure-track faculty and five lecturers and offers an undergraduate degree in Mathematics.
The department also offers two minors in Data Science and Statistics. In addition, the department coordinates a two-year pre-engineering program that prepares students to transfer to an engineering school (usually the main campus of Auburn University).
