Engineering Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and investigate problems related to test cell design and operations.

• Verify the calibration of laboratory equipment.

• Assist in designing systems for lab and production functions.

• Set up products and conduct specialized tests.

• Investigate and troubleshoot test equipment-related issues, document findings, and recommend improvements.

• Design and maintain lab data acquisition systems and support test data management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

• Experience with test equipment, lab systems, and process controls.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.

• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.

• Ability to work well in a matrix team environment.

• Knowledge of instrumentation related to refrigeration and gas combustion equipment.

• Ability or training in LabVIEW or similar programming software for test automation.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.20/hr.
