Electrical Project Scheduler (Primavera P6) Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Scheduler with strong Primavera P6 expertise to support long-term electrical construction projects. This is a full-time, stable role designed for professionals seeking career growth, project continuity, and advancement opportunities. The scheduler will play a critical role in planning, tracking, and optimizing project schedules while partnering closely with project leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Establish baseline schedules, milestones, logic ties, and CPM analysis
- Integrate electrical scope, labor, materials, procurement, and equipment into schedules
- Monitor field progress and update schedules using actuals and forecasts
- Analyze schedule performance, critical path, float trends, and recovery options
- Identify schedule risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies
- Track contractual milestones, compliance deadlines, and deliverables
- Prepare and present schedule reports, look-aheads, and executive summaries
- Support change management and analyze schedule impacts from scope changes
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure schedules align with contract requirements and industry best practices
- Assist with claims support, delay analysis, and recovery schedules as needed
- Proven experience as a Project Scheduler within electrical construction or related trades
- Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 (required)
- Strong understanding of electrical construction sequencing and workflows
- Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and scheduling-related reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Long-term role with exposure to complex, high-value electrical projects
