Location:

Remote, permitted anywhere in the continental United States. At least one in-person interview is required for all positions.

Lead the planning, startup, and commissioning of Life Science and Industrial projects in pharmaceutical, research laboratories, cGMP, and advanced manufacturing markets. Responsibilities include scope development, owner requirements, functional performance test development, site performance testing, documentation, and final acceptance.

• Implement and develop standard procedures for startup and commissioning.
• Support design and construction teams during early stages to set up installation work packages, check lists, and documentation with turnover in mind.
• Assist pre‑construction team with estimates and schedules for startup and commissioning phases.
• Write proposals and estimates for startup and commissioning services.
• Coordinate and implement pre‑startup and startup activities with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Troubleshoot systems and equipment before turnover to clients.
• Prepare close‑out documentation such as O&M manuals, spare parts lists, drawings, and warranty documents.
• Support FAT and SAT as needed, and aid client IQ/OQ validation processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with onsite commissioning of process and industrial equipment, HVAC systems, and associated instrumentation and controls.
• Ability to read, understand, and red‑line design and construction drawings.
• Certified commissioning professional preferred or ability to achieve certification.
• Experience in basic project management and planning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills during technical engineering or construction projects.
  
  Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
• Familiarity with startup of process or utility equipment such as switch gear, chillers, boilers, fans, oxidizers, compressed air, lab gases, autoclaves, air filtration, water purification.
• Team‑oriented, positive attitude, multi‑tasking, self‑motivated to produce high quality work.
• Willingness to travel 25–50 % (international travel may be required).
• Ability to apply for and receive security clearances as required.
