Position: Service Engineer / Business Support

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer / Business Support role based in Montgomery, AL.

In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of engineering and product activities, including CAD drawing development and review, mechanical product design, and coordination of manufacturing and customer requirements. You will also be involved in equipment maintenance and repair support, product testing, and quality control activities to ensure technical accuracy and performance.

Additionally, the role serves as a key point of contact between engineering, customers, and internal teams by presenting design solutions, supporting documentation and business operations, and assisting with facility maintenance and after-sales support as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated equipment
  • Design and modify mechanical and welding-related components based on requirements
  • Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
  • Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software
  • Communicate with customers to understand requirements and provide technical follow-up support
  • Perform detailed documentation, reports and engineering records
  • Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary engineering teams, vendors and contractors for installation and A/S
  • Provide general business support as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Experience using CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar
  • Strong technical and problem‑solving and reasoning skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time‑management skill, ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Mechanical engineering background preferred
