Drainage Engineers and Designers

Role Overview

We are searching for all levels of Drainage Engineers and Designers across the southern United States to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega‑projects.

• Junior level, mid‑level, and senior level Drainage Engineers
• Drainage CAD Designers

• Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
• Technical expertise in highway drainage design, including but not limited to:
  Storm Drain Design, Cross Culvert Analysis and Design, Hydrology, Ditch Design, Bridge Deck Drainage, Temporary Drainage, and Stormwater Quantity Control

• CAD Designers: BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
• Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or equivalency
• Mid‑Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or equivalency
• Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or equivalency

• EIT certification or PE license
• State DOT experience

• These positions are expected to be hybrid (remote/in‑office) and based out of a local AECOM office.
