Entry Level Engineer; Water​/Wastewater

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and curious, client‑focused Entry‑Level Water/Wastewater Engineer in Montgomery, AL. The role involves performing a variety of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects from initial planning and design through construction.

• Hydraulic modeling
• Assisting in the preparation of plans and specifications
• Performing research, technical writing, development of documentation and studies
• Data collection, processing, and analysis to support planning and design activities
• Supporting construction activities related to your designs to ensure proper construction
• Providing on‑site troubleshooting based on field conditions including construction observation, startup and testing, and project closeout activities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Biosystems Chemical or Environmental Engineering
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and PDF editors
• Relevant water/wastewater coursework or projects

• Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Prior work or internship experience with an engineering consultancy or municipality
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain in the first year

Base salary range: $58,656.00 to $91,014.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
